IMPORTANCE

It is important to PLAN before having a child.
Ex: things like a room for the baby, starting a college account, creating a budget, baby clothes, and the list goes on. The job starts way before the baby is born.

What to expect...
If you do not plan for a child, certain problems could arise, such as:

INSTABILITY

Financial instability, career instability, as well as emotional instability.
Financial instability caused by not planning is because you haven't taken in for account that you would need to either stay home or pay a babysitter. Either one takes a toll on your income. Not only that but BABIES COST MONEY. Food, clothes, etc.
Career instability - You need a secure job where if your child gets sick and you NEED 2 or 3 days off work to take care of them, you can have those days off. You need to work around your work schedule with a babysitter while still spending time with your child. In many cases, a parent will stop working completely and remove half the family's income to raise the child.
